GET BUSY, GIVE LOCAL – Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Competition Period
The competition commences at 12:00am AEST on 11 August 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 30 September 2025 (“Competition Period”).
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to sporting clubs based in Victoria (VIC) and Western Australia (WA).
Entrants must be 18 years or older and be authorised representatives of their club.
Employees and immediate family members of BUSY At Work and its associated agencies are not eligible.
3. How to Enter
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
To enter, clubs must:
Complete the entry form at https://info.go.apprenticeshipcommunity.com.au/get-busy
Upload an image or video showcasing their club's community spirit.
Agree to these terms and conditions.
Optional Social Media Engagement:
Clubs may increase visibility by encouraging likes, shares, and comments on their entry post hosted on the official BUSY At Work Facebook page.
4. Prizes
Prize packs will be awarded the winners, each consisting of:
1 x BBQ set
1 x $500 grocery gift card
Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
5. Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on:
Community impact
Creativity of submission "tell us how your club will use the BBQ pack to support your local community"
Engagement with the campaign
Judging will take place at the Promoter’s office within 14 days of the competition close. Winners will be notified via email and/or phone.
6. Winner Notification and Announcement
Winners will be:
Notified by Tuesday 7 October via contact details provided
Announced on the BUSY At Work social media pages
7. Use of Entries and Personal Information
By entering, participants grant BUSY At Work the right to:
Use their submitted content (images/videos) for promotional purposes
Publish entrant names and clubs in connection with the competition
Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
8. Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to:
Verify the validity of entries
Disqualify any entry that is incomplete, misleading, or breaches these terms
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for:
Technical failures or delays
Lost, late, or misdirected entries
Any loss or damage caused in connection with the prize
10. General
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta Platforms Inc.
All entrants release Meta from any liability in relation to the competition.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria and Western Australia, and any disputes will be handled in those jurisdictions.
